Hello! My name is Maria and I am a mother of 2 children, a 6 year old girl and 8 year old boy. They are the center of my world. I am a Wyoming native who was recently transplanted to Texas due to my husband's job. I have an AA in Criminal Justice and a BA in Social Science. I worked in Child Protection for nearly six years prior to moving to Texas. I specialized in child forensic interviewing and worked as a contracted employee with a children's advocacy center interviewing children who had been victims of abuse and negelct. Finally, I was a founding board member of a non profit organization that provided child safety gates and education to prevent child hood injury as a result of falls. I loved the work I did in Wyoming and would have never left it if I still lived there. Currently, I Read more am employed as a family engagement specialist with a local school district. I am working part time (morning) and I need something more to do as I have never worked so little. I have the abiliity to provide excellent child care, dog sitting, or house cleaning.
