In high school I took two years of child development which included a year of volunteering at two separate daycares. During that time & about 5 months after graduating I worked at Tierra Vista Montessori School. At TVMS I worked as an assistant teacher & after graduating I worked independently with my own class of up to 17 students at a time. My class ranged from 3 years old to 6 years old. However, I’m also experienced with 12 months & up. My main responsibilities included to effectively teach children in the ways that specifically benefit them, maintain a clean, safe, & smooth functioning classroom, provide a positive & fun experience for students while educating as well as maintaining a good communication system between myself, parents, & coworkers. Through the course that I completed in high school, I attained a certificate in early childhood care & am also certified in Read more CPR & first aid. I’m currently working at The Learning Experience in Hutto, I have a class of 11 three year olds by myself. I teach a set curriculum & stick to a schedule everyday with them. I’ve completed multiple trainings through this company & have quite a bit of experience with energetic kiddos.
