First, the most important thing you should know about me is that I adore children. Their imaginations never cease to make me smile. This is the biggest reason I chose to teach children for a living. I am a Texas certified K-12 educator with an additional certification to teach all areas of music. I currently teach elementary music in the DFW area and I work with ages 5-13 on my campus with children from diverse backgrounds and educational and emotional needs. I am trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention, which is a method of deescalating an emotional crisis situation with a child (with or without disabilities). Finally, I'm a huge supporter of the arts (music, dance, art, theater) in a child's life and believe they are essential to well-rounded citizen.
