I've lived in Cedar Park for 10+ years.  However, I've been in the Austin area for over 14 years. I have three grown children and nine grandchildren.  Growing up I spent a lot of time taking care of my younger brother and babysitting at least one night a week for others.  After taking early retirement from the business world I found I had to much time on my hands so I took over the care of two of my grandchildren until they started school. Realizing how much pleasure I got from caring for & teaching young children I decided to join Sittercity. During the past 6 years I've cared first for a darling girl who was 3 months old when I started  and two years old when she entered a school program. Secondly I managed to keep up with a very spunky boy from the time he was one year Read more old until he started school at three and a half.  After that I was with a very sweet little girl for a year & 1/2. Now I'm caring for the sister of the very active little boy (they asked me back!). I've also done some evening babysitting.  The parents have been very complimentary to me & will provide great references,  I am prompt, reliable, & take pride in my work.
