I've baby sat since I was 12, starting with my younger siblings. When I turned 14 I became a caregiver for other people's children and also worked in the nursery (for ages 3 months through 5 years) at my church. In high school I took a course called "Ready Set Teach" to have the opportunity to interact with 2nd graders during the school day and also took child development. I volunteer whenever I can to help coach a 12 u girls softball team. Overall I love kids and want to become an educator when I graduate from college.
