My name is Lydia, and I got that name from the Bible. I love to paint, and I actually sell my work. I want to teach art in elementary school. I graduated college with an associate's in liberal arts because I love to learn. I also love to learn how to cook. I play piano, I've taught one person how to play through novice training. I've considered teaching piano because my mom did so I saw how she did things. She was really good with her students, which she taught from ages 6 to 18. When I'm with kids, I pay attention to them. I worked for Winshape Camps for three summers while I was in college and went through a two week long extensive childcare training for the ages of 7 through 18. I have an updated CPR certification, with infant aid completion. My parents are missionaries and my brothers both work in technology jobs. I currently work for a staffing company as a temp employee. I've babysitted fifth grade and up. I want to gain more experience with infant care in time because I know it's needed and my niece is almost two now, and through her infancy I was able to care for her. I want to babysit because I have reliable transportation, I know how to make awesome sandwich lunches! I love to color, build, draw, paint, learn, teach, and watch the kids be themselves.
