At the age of nine was when I was no longer the baby in the family. I helped changed diapers, feed and play with the babies. As they got older I would cook for them and help them with homework and showed them how to clean up small things. When I was 11 my mother became a foster parent and we've had numerous children from newborns up to eight year olds. I helped with homework, showing them how to do chores, cooking for them, showering and bathing them and just being there for them whenever they needed me. I have my CPR and First Aid. I love my job because I love working with children and knowing that I've helped them learn new and different things. I even learn things from them too and it's simply amazing.
