Hello my name is Jade I am currently a college student about to finish my degree in Associate of Science and then will enroll to being classes at the University Of Houston to complete my major in education. I'm currently looking for a Full time position to begin in Mid June 2018 and i'm looking for a long term position as well. I started to babysit when i was at the age of 13. It was only on occasions but as time progressed I involved myself to volunteer as the Ronald McDonald house as well as Star of Hope. Throughout high school i had many opportunities to to work with kids at the Special Olympics as well as many festivals. I also helped my church by being an assistant teacher with events like vacation bible study and sport camps. Once i began my college journey I found a passion to Read more work with kids. With going to school full time I was also able to manage working full time as nanny and also sought to work on the weekends with an organized company. Then once I began to study for my education major I was able to hold the position of a two year old dual language (English/Spanish) teacher at a learning center. Within the past 5 years I had the opportunity to work with many children that range from Newborn - Elementary aged as well as being exposed to kids who have disabilities such as Down syndrome, Autism, and even some who were developmentally delayed. I love to take on a challenge and always looking for ways to expand my knowledge and experience in working with kids. Another fun fact is I love sports as well! I grew up in a very athletic family and always enjoyed being in a competitive environment. I played competitive soccer for about 12 years and played at the highest level for 4 years. I graduated high school with a 3.6 GPA. I'm also CPR and First aid certified. I have a clean background and driving record. I'm also able to give you surplus amount of recommendations!
