Working with children has been the foundation of my vocation. I have a broad amount of educational and recreational experience, as I have had the opportunity to be a part of ten different families. Being no stranger to cooking, cleaning, and running errands, I strive to go above and beyond in helping a household. I have mastered building personal relationships with families, and I assure you, that I will care for your children as you do. 

 I shared 3 years of my life being a Resident Assistant, which taught me how to be a fearless leader, an open communicator, and exceedingly patient. I worked independently with 52 residents, as well as, closely with a staff of 9, to coach over 200 young women through their first year of college. Tutoring in a music school has been my most cherished “job”. The majority of my students were in grades 1-5, Read more and struggled with the fundamentals of reading, writing, and arithmetic. Since our sessions were after school and late, I had to create enticing and unconventional ways to hold their focus and inspire them to want to learn. Whether it be role playing, crafting, or forming songs to help guide and memorize, I was always introducing new ways to encourage their success. Some of my greatest achievements were helping them breakthrough and conquer such frustrating hardships, and enjoying doing so. I excel in, and savor most, the building blocks of a child's development. It is where virtuous, long-lasting behaviors are defined, and bad habits are refocused. I've developed the ability to utilize every learning style, while honing in on areas in which the individual shines most. I imagine I will learn as much from your children, as I have to teach them. For two summers, I worked as a summer school teacher in Lincolnwood, at Rutledge Hall. It was such a unique and refreshing opportunity, as we were given the option to teach whatever it is we wanted. I chose topics that were outside of average school subjects, in order to give students an illuminating break from the norm. With such freedoms, I was able to mirror the students' energy and enthusiasm and create something fresh and exhilarating each day. Everything I taught, was interactive, hands on, and I always participated in anything I asked them to do. I hold the patience, silliness, and endurance to engage and excite your child(ren) in whatever activities we dive into.
