My name is Stefanie. I am 33 years old. I am from the East Coast. Prior to college I have had a ton of babysitting and youth camp experience. I enjoy working with children and helping to aid in their cognitive and motor skill developments. I have done everything from being a summer nanny, to working with special needs kids in a summer camp, to going on retreats with middle school girls as a counselor. My half sister is 10 years younger then I am so I have had experience with taking care of a child since I was 10 years old. I also went on missions trips in highschool so I was able to work with kids internationally in orphanages. I graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Psychology. After college I went on a missions trip called the World Race to 11 countries in 11 months. On Read more the trip, I gained a ton of experience in disaster relief, visiting womans shelters, teaching and reading to children, and more. After the World Race I moved to Texas. I was a nanny for twins for a year, and then a nanny for a little boy for almost a year (I still babysit him occasionally). I love watching the development process and am very active in the lives of children when they are under my care. I believe the sole responsibility of a nanny is to provide a safe, fun, learning environment and to stay active in the process. I do not like to consider it day care. I am looking for a family that is the right fit. I am a non smoker, have a clean driving record, am CPR certified, and excited to find a family to start working with. With past Nanny positions I also babysat occasionally on weeknights or weekends so the parents could have date nights.
