I'm a twenty four year old education major who can't wait to finish school and spend every day with kiddos! I recently got married and moved back to Austin and have full time availability. Nothing brings me joy or fulfills my heart the way that spending time with children does. I started babysitting at fourteen, caring for my neighbor's five little girls ages nine months to eight years regularly which continued throughout my high school years and first year of college. I also began volunteering at the daycare that the school district I grew up in provides for children of employees the same year, which I went on to work in after school starting at turned sixteen and extending through my senior year. Prior to that I'd begun volunteering in the nursery at my church at thirteen and working VBS the same year. Many of my close friends now have children of their own and being involved in their lives is such a blessing and so important to me as well. School has taught me an immeasurable amount about child care/behavior/psychology and I can't wait to continue my knowledge and further equip myself in being the absolute best teacher/mentor/caregiver I can be! I'm a very kind, honest, committed, punctual and hard working person and I'd absolutely love to be given the opportunity to help out your family and spend time with your kiddos.
