Hello everyone! I grew up being the eldest out of three so ever since I was younger I had my share in taking care of my siblings which included changing diapers, cleaning up after their little messes, preparing meals for them, helping them with homework, how to read and write, singing the alphabet, counting, learning colors/shapes, teaching them proper manners and so on. I am also bilingual so I could help your son or daughter learn some Spanish if you’d like. As for experience I currently nanny a 3 yr old, M-F from 3pm-6pm so I can work evenings on any given day, but only mornings (around 6am) through 2pm on MWF. I can also do date nights and weekends. Other than that I use to be an office assistant at my local church for Sunday and Wednesday school where I was later promoted to become a Sunday / Wednesday Read more school teacher. I taught little kids from ages five and up which was so neat because it was great watching them grow up year after year and interacting with them during class. I also babysat a family friend’s daughter for a little over a year during high school. If your child is in after school sports I will have no problem with it. I played soccer and softball for about 10 years so I know the importance of keeping kids healthy, in shape and involved in extracurricular activities since it helps their minds grow. Kids are like little sponges so I love to teach them as much as I can. I love kids of all ages and being able to contribute in their growth. It’s such a rewarding experience! (: A little about me: - I am currently a full time student at Eastfield college; My classes are Tue & Thurs from 9am to 2pm. - I am studying to get my Arts Associates degree. - My hobbies include exercising and everything dealing with Fine Arts. - I am a theatre geek!! I used to help with school plays all throughout high school and even went on to UIL and won awards for best tech. - I enjoy doing activities with kids such as going to the park, play dates, reading and taking trips to the library or museums. - Lastly, I’d like to include that I was my grandfather's primary care giver for about 14 months. He lived with me and I watched over him as soon as I got home from college. I know he may not have been a toddler, but he did require lots of assistance in similar ways of taking care of a baby / toddler
