My prior experience with children includes being a sitter and nanny with Angel Sitters for approximately 3 years while getting my bachelors degree, volunteering with the AAMA organization, substitute teaching for 3 years while in college, and teaching children (certified K-8, ESL, Reading Specialist, & School Counselor) for 16 years. I'm currently a teacher therefore my availability would be evenings/nights and weekends. I'm a mom to a 2 1/2 year old who will stay with my mother-in-law and a wife to a firefighter/medic. I have basic skill in minor medical needs and am a Christian. I'm okay with pets (I have a black Lab) but am allergic to cats.
