I have 3 siblings, so I have grown up around kids of all ages. I have cared for my younger sister, now 12, on countless occasions (along with her friends). My paid experience is limited, but I have babysat the kids of our family friends for years as well. I have previous experience volunteering in the children's center at my church in which I taught a small group of kids a weekly lesson, served snacks, made sure that everyone got along and played safely, and kept the kids engaged in both conversation and activities. I enjoy the energy and enthusiasm with which kids approach life; everything is a new adventure! The light in their eyes when they get to do something exciting or learn something new is priceless. I understand that a person's child is their number one priority and that they deserve the best care available.
