I've maintained the safety and well-being of numerous children always with a positive and eager attitude. I love working with children, being able to watch them grow and help them learn as well as being a friendly, fun person they can play and feel comfortable with. I worked as a Child-watch Attendant for the Y.M.C.A for 3 years, caring for children ages 1yr to 12yrs old. I've also been a full-time nanny for 2 families over the last 5 years; full-time and live-in when needed (parents away for vacation/business). The ages I'm most used to working with are 5-12, however I'm not opposed to working with little ones younger than 5, I just know they take a little longer to get used to nannies/babysitters sometimes. I've worked with several special needs children. Light work around the house (laundry, dishes, etc.), cooking, and running errands (grocery store, dry cleaning) are not Read more a problem, as I did this for my last 2 families and cooking is a hobby of mine. I'm good at keeping a routine (such as after school snack, homework, play-time, baths and dinner-time). I believe in manners at all times (at home and in public) and always enforce parents' rules. I simply love caring for children and am seeking further nanny work to continue doing what I love and broaden my experience. Also available as a sitter for later in the evenings or weekends.
