Hi! My name is Zakiya Williamson, but I usually just go by Zee. I am a recent 2014 graduate from The University of Texas at Austin, majoring in history and moved to Portland to pursue my graduate training. I've worked with children since I was in high school, by usually babysitting neighborhood kids, and family friends children. I was a member of an organization called PALs where I mentored and tutored "at-risk" kids ranging from 5- 13 years old. I've worked with children as young as 1 and as old as 15 and I love them all! I am a really outdoorsy kind of girl. I've played soccer my entire life, enjoy volleyball, and was even a lifeguard and swim instructor after graduating high school. I also believe that I am a great cook. I mostly cook healthy options but I don't mind whipping up a grilled-cheese or peanut butter Read more and jelly sandwich. I've worked at law firms and drug recovery centers, but I love being with children more than anything. I believe that I will be the best baby-sitter for your child because although I command respect, I am also very playful and fun to be around.
