Hello moms and dads, I am 28 years old and currently working part-time as a physical therapy technician for Houston Methodist. My work schedule is PRN meaning I am only working full days on Fridays until 6 p.m. until work picks up but even then I'll be working until, no later than 6 p.m. I was living in Japan for almost 2 years because my husband is in the Navy and is stationed there. I came back home to get work experience as a tech to apply to Physical Therapy Assistant school. Experience: I was a sitter a lot on base in Japan working almost everyday, all day long with multiple families and was in really high demand. I did that for about a year. I have been a sitter/nanny for care. com before but it was years ago. The family I was a nanny for had two school-aged boys Read more in which I picked up from school, cooked occasional dinners, helped with homework, over saw chores, and got them to sporting practices. I did it all and loved it. Along with experience on here, I have 2 nieces (4 and 6 yrs old) and 1 nephew (14 months) and I am very involved in their lives. What you'll expect from me: I love doing anything outdoors. Taking walks and going to the park/swimming pool are always a go. We'll make the ART if you have the CRAFTS! I love to read during bedtime routines and if they are learning how to read, I'm there to help. I am comfortably with preparing meals, light cleaning and all-around trying to help out the parents as much as possible. Availability: Since I am PRN, I am looking for last minute and/or weekend needs and also anything that is after 6 p.m. during the week days. Also, all references will be given upon request.
