I have about 6 consistent years working for a Foster Mom of 6; ranging from elementary ages to 18, including special needs kids. I've always had a love for working with kids. I even started a youth organization with a rotating roster of 50 kids, ranging all ages. My latest urge has been for babies and toddlers. Growing up, I had a compassion for any kid younger than myself, including in my young adulthood. I guess I was mentoring without realizing it. At home, we always had someone in the family with a baby to dote over. Now I'm not fortune enough to have that experience due to living away.
