Caregiving is important brings me joy and fulfillment. I have been a caregiver for over 25+ years. For babysitting, the ages I have sat for ranges from 10 day old premature babies, to 15 year old teens and I prefer babies. The reason I prefer babies is because I have known since age 6, that I was made me to nuture children, not just my own. I offer my services to others because I have had the experiences with great babysitters and horrible/unsafe babysitters for my oldest son. So I decided in 2002 to focus on my care services as a sole source of income for the sake of being a safe and loving option to other parents who can't stay home with their own. I do have children myself, 2 boys, ages 20 and 25+. I volunteer frequently at disaster recovery events. I do have some specific care giving philosophies. Absolutely no late nights.
