Hi Everyone! As an older sister, babysitting has kind of been my "unofficial job" since my younger sibling was born. Staying alone for a weekend while my parents were away, driving to early morning saxophone lessons, making sure we both had been fed, sitting down to do homework, you name it- I've probably done it! I've been watching my brother alone since I was 9 years old, and since we have a 10 year age gap- since he was born. As I child, my parents worked and I would have to stay home alone with my brother who was as young as a couple months old. Because of this, I have experience with specific feeding hours, putting a younger child to sleep, carrying a baby in a stroller, and keeping a younger child entertained. As he grew up, of course, I also understand how to communicate and handle an older Read more child who still needs attention, of course, but not as much as a 3-month baby. I love kids, they're enjoyable and every day is something new with them, but I also understand the immense care and responsibility that comes along with caring for one. I hope to be of service in any way that I can! I also love pets and am completely fine with one being around!
