I've been babysitting, with a certification, since I was 11 years old. Currently 18, I am a senior in high school who babysits occasionally on week nights and week ends for a few neighborhood kids. I have babysat for both boys and girls from ages 18 months to 12 years old. The summer of 2014 I was a nanny for three girls over the summer, and last summer I was a Day Camp Counselor at the YMCA, monitoring and caring for kids in groups of 10-12. We would feed them snacks, read to them, come up with games for them to play, as well as talk them on field trips. I received CPR and First Aid Certification for this job and still hold these certifications. The reason I have only able to work over the summer is because during the year I've been a full time student. I'm both Class Read more and Student Council President, as well as member of the Mock Trial team for Fisd, I would really love to nanny this summer, it's my first choice job and absolute favorite thing to do. I think kids are the most enjoyable people to speak to, with no filter they tend to say hilarious things that always seem to brighten my day.
