Hello! My name is Christa. I am 26 years old and a full-time college student. I returned to school last year to begin the pursuit of my bachelor's and master's degrees in counseling after spending a few years working full-time as a preschool teacher and a nanny. I currently lead the after-school program at a preschool in Keller,TX part-time. Needless to say, I LOVE children! I started volunteering at my church nursery as a teenager and have been working with children ever since. I have four years experience in a preschool setting with all ages from infants to 12 years, 2 years of nannying experience with a toddler, and 10 years of experience babysitting young children. Up until last May, I primarily worked with 2-3 year old kiddos aa a preschool teacher, but have been with the 1st-6th grade after-schoolers since then. It's hard to choose which age I prefer working with because each child at each age has their own personality which brings its own unique challenges, joy and type of fun! Since I am in school and working, I am primarily looking to work with families that just need the occasional sitter for date night, errands, work functions, etc. I am primarily available on weekends, but may be able to do some weekday nights as well.
