I'm 35, a single mom of two ages 11 & 4 and not that I don't have a life, I just choose to spend all my free time with my babies... after they hit a certain age they won't want to hang out with mommy so I have to enjoy it while I can. Decided to join sittercity because I hear of so many people needing "them time" and they leave their kid(s) with anyone not really knowing the person and that chops my hide. Our babies are treasures and shouldn't be left with just anyone so here I am extending help to those parents who need date time, or have a weekend trip planned. Having us time is not only healthy for relationships but for ourselves as well :) I have my own transportation/insured and available starting after work ( I'm a Financial Manager for a Construction Design Firm Read more in the Heights area) Fridays at 7pm til Sunday's 7pm for date time, weekend trips, weekend work with the exception of some early Saturday morning for my daughters softball games (if that those hours are required, we can pack a bag and the kiddos can join us at the park.. the more team support the better. I haven't officially baby sat for a company , but do occasionally watch nieces. Before having kids, around the age of 22ish I worked 2 years part-time with troubled toddlers who were born to drug addicted/sick moms and that there takes patience. On top of that I do have hands on kid care experience with my own two and those two rascals there are the best references I can provide :) Nia (11), Nick (4) and I are always doing something on the weekends for fun, but that fun outting is always something educational as well and would love to have your kiddos join us... you can have work or just well deserved you time and they can have fun as well. If anyone interested and would prefer I get certified for CPR , that's not a problem.
