Hello my name is Jahvena but everyone calls me Jahjah, it's much easier to say lol. I am a senior in college and I want to focus on my studies as much as I can so I don't want to work the traditional work schedule. I am 26 years old and I took some time off of school to travel the world as a flight attendant but on my off days I still continued to babysit and visit most of my past families. I absolutely love and adore children and I have always worked with children in some way from babysitting the neighbors children when I was 12, then on to my first volunteer after school job at a daycare when I was 14, then on to my first real job in a daycare center when I turned 16. When I turned 18 is when I started to babysit the Read more children from the daycare on weekends because of my curfew set by my parents I wasn't able to babysit them before because I had cheer/dance/softball practice and or games and I couldn't be out to late during the school year. I worked in a daycare setting for several years and I was promoted as an infant specialist at the age of 20 and I was able to gain so much more knowledge about children from that position. After that I became a FT nanny and personal assistant. However, I was still able to squeeze in extra babysitting jobs on the side because my schedule was pretty flexible with the children being school aged and the toddler attending daycare several hours a day. After that I became a program assistant at a charter school in Houston, TX and I left that job to become a flight attendant and see the world for the past two years. Now I am back home!!!! So as you can see I have several years experience as a caregiver in many different ways. I still have great relationships with all the families I have ever worked with and I would be more than happy to provide you with an abundance of references.
