For the past five years I have used my Bachelors in theater to instruct the youth teaching theater and life skills. I have been responsible for hundreds of youth over the years.Every now and then a friend or neighbor may ask me to watch their children;I even take care of my eight year old niece. I am also an expecting mother and will like to get some good practice in before my first newborn. My experiences have taught me to be observant, how to plan a day ,patience, strong communication, and gentleness. I have learned the best way to respond to child behavior. I love to be clear about what is acceptable and adhere to the standards of the parents. I have also learned to have an activity for them to engage with learning while having fun. I was raised to be genuine and communicate clearly with adults as well as children. I do not like deception and do my best not to practice it.
