As a new mommy, I have stepped away from a full time position to watch my little one grow in her first few years on Earth. In the meantime, I would like to offer care giving to additional families while I have the extra time. For 17 years, I have taken care of children. At the ripe age of 13 I became an aunt - a highly involved and hands-on aunt. From that moment, I fell in love with children. I absolutely love their energy! I believe that providing them with love and stability is fundamental to their spirit, as they blossom. My care giving experience has been family-related. I do not have certifications, however I have taken several college courses in Early Childhood Education and in the past received first aid training. On the other hand, I do value education and continued learning. I have obtained my Bachelor's Degree Read more in Communication Studies. Currently, I am attending the Aveda institute to obtain my license in Esthetics. This training course is heavily saturated with the education of the Human Anatomy with a holistic approach to wellness. I believe when individuals have proper education that happiness, wellness and feeling beautiful are easily obtainable. Additionally, I would like to add that I am hands-on and see the value in providing an environment for children that is full of positive energy. I think it's important for children to let their imaginations run wild. I am not an advocate of excessive TV watching or relying on active toys for stimulation. Active toys make passive children - passive toys make active children.
