I have been in the field of education and teaching for the past 11 years. In that time, I have worked with children ranging from 12-months to 12-years of age. I am a devoted teacher and I always consider my number one priority to be the safety and well-being of my students. As a teacher, there is no greater responsibility than when parents hand the care of the most special people in their life. This is a responsibility that I always keep in mind. I have spent the majority of my career focusing in elementary and early childhood education. Specifically, I work with mathematics and young children. In addition to the classroom setting, I have worked in the development of teaching practices at one of the top universities for elementary mathematics and science education. In addition, I have spent many years teaching swim lessons and life-guarding and I am first Read more aid and CPR certified. I have coached soccer from ages 4 to 18. I avidly participate in sports and being outside and believe that a key to a child's upbringing is finding a balance and allowing them to play, be active and enjoy the outdoors. Please note, that while during the summer, my schedule is open, however will change when the school year resumes.
