I am a fun and very experienced Childcare Provider, Nanny, Health Nutrition enthusiast and Speech Therapist for the Houston Independent School District. My passion for working with and caring for children developed at a young age as I come from a large family. My first official childcare position took place in the summer of 2010 after I graduated high school as Teachers Assistant for the Childrens Defense Fund Freedom School. From there I went on to attend College at The University of Texas where I also held several childcare positions. Throughout my undergraduate career I worked at the UT Child Development center, Nanny-ed for a couple of Austin families, and worked for the Extend A Care for Kids after school program. After receiving my degree I moved back home to Houston and immediately took on a Speech Therapy position with the Houston Independent School District. Currently I am in my Read more 3rd year with HISD and I am not yet married or have children of my own, but my passion and genuine care for children continues to prevail. Therefore, in my spare time I am always interested and willing to build a relationship with different families as I assist them in giving the best possible care for their children as needed.
