I’m proud to say that for the last 4 years I’ve worked as a full time pre-school teacher. I have a year of experience most recently at teaching at Bertha Alyce preschool. Prior to that I had the privilege of serving as assistant to the lead teacher in a Montessori classroom setting at Sherwood Forrest Montessori School. The year prior I taught preschool for Bright Horizons in Downtown Houston. Throughout my undergraduate years at the University of Houston I worked with children part time in various capacities. I worked as a Junior Kumon instructor (ages 3 -7), a private ice skating coach, a camp counselor, a babysitter, and a data collector for the Children's Learning Institute at UT Health Science Center. I am CPR certified and earned my Child's Development Associate degree (CDA) in 2018. Since schools are out of session due to the covid crises, I am using this Read more time to complete my degree in Interdiciplinary studies via online classes at UH Downtown, but I’m seeking part time work so that I can continue my passion of working with children.
