I am a young professional living in the Houston area. I work as an event coordinator for a large breast cancer walk and 501 c 3 public charity. I love giving back and exploring all that Houston has to offer. Although I currently reside in the Great Lonestar state I am a true New Yorker and native of New York City. I graduated from Providence College two years ago where I studied Political Science and Writing. While attending Providence College I worked as a full time nanny and weekend sitter for several different families. I loved working with children, expanding their curiosity, running around with them, and becoming a member of every family that I worked so closely with.  My passion for working with children is deep rooted and started when I was as young as thirteen and a mothers helper for several families in my neighborhood. In high school Read more I was a sixth grade girls Basketball coach and ran several basketball clinics throuhgout the off season. During the summer I was a lifeguard and swim instructor, teaching children that were as young as three to feel comfortable in a pool or water setting.  Throughout college I worked part-time as a nanny as well as a part time sitter for other families in areas near my college.
