I started watching children when I was in junior high/middle school. Most recently I've watched my nieces for my sister who are 8 and 2 and for my sister's neighbor's children who are 8 and 3. In the past, I've cared for newborns up to pre-teens. I don't mind playing games, playing sports, or reading with kids. Kids are fun and they seem to be happier when they're active or busy doing some kind of activity whether it's throwing a ball or building a fort or coloring. I also realize different parents feed their children different diets, which is not a problem. I have celiac disease, an intolerance to gluten, so I'm very understanding of allergies, intolerances and restrictive diets. I do have some first aid training from the four and a half years I worked as a flight attendant; it was required to re-qualify annually in safety training. I Read more don't mind meeting up prior to being offered or accepting any sitting positions to make sure I'm a good fit.
