My name is Malicia Fluellen and I currently just graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville with a Bachelors of Science in Victim Studies with a minor in Human Services . My overall goal is to become a school counselor in a Title 1 school district either in Conroe or the Houston Area . I'm currently an Assistant Mananger at HEB in Conroe in the Service Department . I am a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) where I do take cases on from time to time mentoring foster kids and being that voice for them when they aren't present in the court room . When I graduted form high school in 2012 I received a scholarship to play volleyball at Tyler Junior College and that's where my babysitting took off . My coach had 6 kids and at first it was just a minimum watch the kids and put Read more them to bed on fridays when they went out on a date but I eventually turned into not only their babysitter , but a friend , sister , and comforter . I did this for a little close to 1 year and a half and I loved every minute of it and I have references to prove it . Not only did I meet a wonderful family of 8 but I also was able to come across a little angel name Tynlee . I meet Coach Hood my second year of college at Tyler Junior College where she was my assistant coach . I meet Tynlee at one of our games and Coach Hood asked me if I would be available to come over and babysit Tynlee and Boomer (the dog) for about an hour or so, so she could run errands and after that the test was history. I was the babysitter Tynlee and The Shirley kids(group of 6) throughout the school year and even during the summer . I will be going back to graduate school to fulfill my degree in school counseling but that not until the Spring of 2018! Thank you .
