Hey! I’m Misty and I have been working as a babysitter for over 9 years now. I love kids, especially toddlers, though I have worked with children ranging in age from 0 months up to 9 years. I love working with multiples and have babysat up to 5 children at the same time. As a caregiver I seek to respect parents routines and habits with their children: I like to ask a lot of questions and make sure everyone feels comfortable with the situation. I want to make sure that your child is having fun, while maintaining the consistency of parents rules and everyday environment. I seek to create an atmosphere of respect and creativity when working with children. I have grown up caring for and playing with my nieces and nephews of all ages. I love being outdoors with kids, playing games, and encouraging learning and playing together. I Read more graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, with a degree in Apparel Design in May 2013, and am currently working at Academy Sports + Outdoors in Katy, TX as a Technical Designer. I care deeply about Jesus, living intentionally, people, and adventure. I love, travel, design, cooking, and music (I play classical piano and violin), and grew up riding horses across the wide-open plains of North Dakota. I am Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR Certified. Will provide personal references on request.
