I am 23 years old and love working with children. When I was little, I aspired to be a teacher. I am starting classes this fall, making my way toward that goal! I was one of the few girls in my family, and quickly became everyone's babysitter at age 13. I started occasionally caring for the babies in my family when they turned 6-8 weeks and fell in love with it! I then began applying for jobs at the YMCA and local daycares/preschools which had an emphasis on teaching. I am up to date with CPR and first aid training. I love working with children because it is a unique and exciting experience getting to watch them learn about the world around them and teaching them all about it.
