Hello there! I am a freshman English Major at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, TX. I have had many experiences working with children. Throughout middle and high school, I volunteered at the Vacation Bible School at my home church Bannockburn Baptist Church in Austin, TX. During my time in the youth group there, I have attended numerous mission trips to Oklahoma City, Waco, San Antonio, Austin, and Houston. On these trips, we worked with children from low-income apartment complexes and conducted Backyard Bible Clubs. Additionally, I have attended four mission trips to Guatemala where I've taught English classes to children, provided feeding programs, and build houses for families. Currently, I volunteer in the Children's Ministry at Miller Heights Baptist Church where I teach 2nd grade children evey Wednesday night. Although I am studying to teach high school English, I love spending time with children and maintaining relationships with Read more them.
