I am a 30 year old driven, experienced, dedicated, smart, hard working, reliable, loving, nurturing individual who is extremely passionate about children and business. I have loved children my whole life. As a kid, when I had birthday parties, I taught my little nephew how to crawl through the tunnels rather than play with my friends. I hosted neighborhood activities for the younger kids, when I was a kid myself. And I babysat all my friend's little siblings while mom took care of chores... and I even refused to take money. I've always been an ambitious, mature, self-starter with a weakness for kids, especially babies. They melt my heart. I took my first babysitting jobs as a young teenager and turned it into a career throughout school and after. I've worked with many sets of families and taken on an infinite amount of responsibility with each. Several of the families Read more had 5 young children, several families had newborn twins, and a few had disabilities or health problems. I've been a live-in nanny, I've been a night nanny, and I've even been a live-in night nanny for 5 children, 2 of which were premature newborn twins! I've acquired the nickname Mary Poppins on a few occasions, because they say there isn't anything I can't do. I'm even a great cook! I graduated from Business school in 2008 and had billionaire, Dan Gilbert as my personal mentor throughout school. It was a very rewarding few years and taught me so much about entrepreneurialism. I'd like to some day open a business for children. Perhaps a daycare or learning center. I love to stimulate and teach children. They are like sponges. Their ability and enthusiasm to learn is second to none. But for now, I am a career nanny. Passionate about children and making the parents' lives easier. I truly love helping others and contributing to a smoothly ran household. Additional hobbies include playing tennis, swimming, hiking, cooking, trying new restaurants, good movies, learning, and traveling.
