Hello, my name is Rachel. I am an experienced nanny living in the Denton area and would love to serve your family's childcare needs! I started babysitting at a very young age, at home with my mother's supervision until I was old enough to drive and care for children on my own. I have had various people I babysat for just on the occasion, whenever they needed me kind of thing. And I was a nanny to a little boy for 2-3 years, which is where most of my experience comes from. I have 3 nieces and 2 nephews all 6 and under, so I get plenty of experience in taking care of children by just being their aunt! I also have some experience working with special needs children, as my last nanny position was taking care of a sweet 6yr old boy with cerebral palsy. I love doing crafts, Read more playing games, going on adventures, and all sorts of activities! If you need light house keeping, laundry, meal preparation, transportation, and pet care I am more than happy to also help in those areas in whatever way I can. I went to Collin College and graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing in May 2013, and am currently studying to take my licensure boards. So caring for people in general is pretty much what I've done my whole life. I am so passionate about taking care of others, of any age and in all kinds of situations! It's what I love to do! As a student nurse I had clinical training in pediatrics as part of my my nursing curriculum. And I plan to specialize in pediatrics because I just love kids, and taking care of them is such a blessing to me. I also have experience with pets, even complicated needs such as administering medications. I love animals and enjoy taking care of them as well. And that's about it.
