Hello amazing and hard working parents! Are you looking for someone creative, trustworthy, and experienced? You found her! I have had many years of babysitting experience under my belt. By the time I was 15, I was the person in the neighborhood that everyone would call. I took care of about 20 or so different family's children by the time I was 19. While I was in college, I was a nanny to two girls ages 6 and 8. I also worked in a kid's club at a gym, tutored kids in reading at Sylvan Learning Center, and then became the lead teacher at a daycare for kids ages 3-5. After going to college and earning my teaching degree, I worked as an elementary classroom teacher for the past 11 years primarily in first and second grade. While I was an extremely passionate and dedicated teacher, I recently made the Read more decision to leave the classroom and work with kids like I once did. During my career as a teacher, I purchased many children's books and supplies and am willing to utilize these for your children. Since I have worked with so many ages and different kinds of kids, both at home and in a classroom, I have many useful strategies for managing behavior and getting tasks completed. I enjoy cooking and shopping so if you need me to do a few errands and cook some homemade meals, then that's no problem. I also am a great time manager and organizer, I'm very skilled at coming up with fun activities, and I love to interact with kids doing both indoor and outdoor activities. Working with kids has been my passion and I'd love to have the chance to work with yours!
