I absolutely love working with children! I am studying teacher education at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California with hopes of becoming a first or second grade elementary school teacher. In terms of my child care experience, I have baby sat for family friends and neighbors in the past. In addition to, I held an internship position at a local preschool for about six months (called the Scripps Exploring Academy) and I also volunteered at the birth center at Pomerado Hospital (located in San Diego as well) for about three to four months in which I helped the nurses take care of children as the parents were tending to their newborn. I also worked at the nursery at my church and it was a great experience. I am now currently looking for a part time babysitting job over the summer in McKinney, Texas. I am currently working at Read more a daycare at the Cooper Fitness Center during the summer months. My work days are typically Monday through Saturday mornings so I would be available to babysit late Saturday and anytime on Sunday. I believe I'm a good candidate for this job because I am a patient, hard worker who really loves caring for children! I will put my very best effort in caring for your child! Thank you!
