Trustworthy, caring, and loving. My approach often has balance between training, nurturing, and playfulness while creating fun memories with those I have privilege of caring for. In my child care experience I have cared for a deaf child and their half deaf sibling, 2 sets of twins at separate times, and have only worked with special needs children in group environments. I've worked in my church nursery from the tail end of my high school years, through college, and as needed‚ at the present. I work with children from newborn age through high school age and in each age group have worked with anywhere from 1 to 14+ kids at any time. As a camp counselor I've worked as "dorm mom" for kids from first through 6th grade, and have life guarding experience but am not licensed nor CPR certified. Throughout the years I have kept in touch with several families I have previously babysat for and even babysit their babies now. In 2012 I had the opportunity to nanny/caregiving for a family for 11 months till all kids were of school age. (Ages 3, 6, & 11) Currently my interactions with kids is Sunday class from Nursery - 5 year old. January 2020-July 2022 Nannied for a sweet 2.5 yr old and newborn infant here at my home to watch along side with my three kids. I now have a 6, 4, and almost 2 yr old. I would love to be able to watch one or two kids along with my two youngest. Preschool age would be so fun to have an extra playmate and nanny at the same time. For occasionally sitting I can be available with or without my kids. Recently finished a part-time nanny job from Dec 2023 - Mar 2024 as a sit in nanny while grandparents/sitters were snow-birding. My preference is to be available for babysitting or Nannying 2-3 days a week.
