I have 5 years of care giving experience. I've worked at a child care facility for 3 years, was a full time nanny for 1 year, & did various babysitting jobs. I have worked with children that range from the ages 6 weeks to 11 years. My CPR/First-Aid is current. I am currently seeking my bachelor's in teaching early childhood education through 6th grade. I apply all of my training & gained knowledge from the materials from school to better take care of the children I am responsible for. For example, I have learned that play is a valuable tool to help expand & build cognitive development/abilities in children. One of my favorite things to do is read & do fun craft projects with the children so that they can express their comprehension on a particular subject/idea.
