I have a lot of experience working with children. My most impacting experience would be helping my mother raise my two siblings. My father passed away when I was 12, so being the oldest I helped My mother care for my two younger siblings who at the time were 8 & 3. This helped me gain so much first hand experience. In high school I also Helped with any elementary activities I could get my hands on, a few of my favorite would be helping with field day, creating an Easter egg hunt among a few others. I was also the library aid for 2 years in high school and really enjoyed helping students choose out books. I am currently enrolled in a few education courses and working towards my elementary teaching degree. I enjoy working with children because it’s always so fun to teach them new things and watch Read more them learn it so quickly. I play basketball and soccer so I love to do a lot of outdoor/sport activities, and hands on activities. I also enjoy reading, and I believe that is the main source of learning, you can gain so much knowledge from reading. My goal as a sitter is to help them learn new things, feel safe and most importantly have fun. I take this responsibility very serious because I know the impact sitters have on children. I will put in all my effort into creating the best environment for your child.
