Now that my two sons are grown and independent I decided to return to college and graduated in May with a degree in Speech Pathology. While attending college I volunteeed at Early Head Start and also helped a family whose son is on the autism spectrum. I am an American Red Cross volunteer and assisted with disaster relief at the shelter in Dallas after Hurricane Harvey. My CPR, First Aid, AED certificate is current through September 2019. My plans are to pursue my Master degree in Sept. 2018, continue volunteer work, and work on the weekends. I enjoy reading, sewing, playing the piano and harp, ice skating ,snow skiing, swimming, and sharing my hobbies and love of learning with others.
