18 year old (19 in February) child sitter and tutor looking for weekend gig attending to one or two kids, preferably age two and up. All pets welcome. I've looked after my little sister (seven years my junior) since she was born as well as sporadically babysat other kids for friends and family. Kids generally think I'm cool, I'm great with animals, and I have the ACT score to help out with any academic pursuits! My specialty is ELA. I do not believe in or condone spanking, yelling, threatening, or speaking harshly. I will never lose my temper with a child and I will not tolerate abusive behavior. I am fastidiously tidy but not afraid to get a little messy in the name of fun. I have my own apartment that is child-safe and one VERY friendly, medium-sized heeler/catahoula mix named Bonnie. Also completely open to traveling to you! I own a small Ford truck that can take us where we need to go, but I would only recommend this for older kids as there is no extended cab and so a car seat wouldn't be safe. I'm a full-time employee for Hendrickson High School as the librarian's assistant. After I become a full-time student in 2019 I will probably have more availability as I work around classes.
