I am an Air Force veteran, and now a stay at home mommy to a 15 month old boy. I have 7 nieces and nephews, all of which I have cared for (from a day to weeks at a time). I started babysitting at 13 and was a nanny to two children (ages 4 and 8) at 17. Now being a mom myself, I feel as though I have quite a bit of experience with children. Though, I feel you can never have enough, as each child is different and all unpredictable. I love spending time with my son. Being a mom, I have learned a whole new form of patience. I believe children should come first, and hope to sit for someone who feels the same. I love teaching my son, reading, crafts, and of course lots of play time. I believe in a structured schedule (breakfast, nap, lunch, Read more dinner time). It has definitely worked for us, my son started sleeping through the night at 6 months. I know how hard it is to leave your kids with someone you aren't blood related to, and sometimes even that is difficult. Leaving my son to return back to Active Duty full time was very tough. I hope to ease some of that stress. I am dependable, patient and caring.
