I have been serving in childcare for 20+ years. I've only worked with a daycare facility one time for about 6 months and I was miserable. High turnover rate and employees were there for a paycheck. I love working in a church environment or private care. For the last 8 years I've been employed with faith family Baptist Church M.D.O. program. I started as the 3 year old teacher and have now been working with the preschoolers for a couple a years. I have a seventeen year old, a 13 year old and our "surprise" 4 year old. Unfortunately, when the oil field took a dive last year, we struggled through as long as we could, but now I'm trying to find something to fit my schedule WITHOUT putting my son in daycare.
