Hello! My name is Hira, pronounced as Haira I am a single fulltime parent of two girls 2 and 3 years old, they are both in school, I am in my final years in a doctorate of naturopathic medicine program at Bastyr University. I am CPR and AED certified. I live in Seattle Washington, near Seattle children's hospital. NOTE: My children have daycare as well as night care I will NOT be bringing them with me, but I can. I have my own vehicle, I am a great cook, comfortable with all types of pets, immune to messes and love to interact whole heartedly with children.. I have experience working with different families of all cultures and ages with infants from a few weeks to 18 year-old teens. I have served as a Teacher for three years in a row. I am currently a substitute teacher at the Waldorf school Read more in seattle working with elementary school kids. 1. I have served in the national Americorps I was a middle school life skills coach and worked with refugee students; 2. I then worked for Houston Independent School District as an intervention tutor, where I taught troubled 7-8th graders. 3.Then I tutored 3rd Grade mathematics, and this past summer I was working at a mental health camp with Palestinian and Syrian refugee children. Moreover, I have babysat and taught autistic children and down syndrome from mild to severe MR cases and also lived with a roommate with Asperger’s syndrome; I am not afraid or aggressive towards children with behavior issues at all. My own child has SPD and ADHD. Minimum hours 4 hours The starting rate is 1 Child: $25/hour 2 Children: $27/hour 3 Children: $30/hour Maximum miles preferred from 98115 is 10 miles- beyond that, I would require compensation, usually just an additional hour added to the bill.
