Hello, my name is Lorelei! I provide babysitting, nanny , and education services. I am a 47-year-old mother of one 7 year old little girl. We have lived in Texas 6 years in January. My mother, my daughter and I moved from CA to be near family, and currently reside in Round Rock. I was employed by a Georgetown family from 01/2014 to 08/2016 when the two boys both became school age and the family's needs changed, as well as I began attending college part time a couple of evenings a week. I took off last semester in order to get accustomed to classes and studying. From 05/2011 to 01/2015 I worked with a family picking up one boy from daycare, around 5:30 and keeping him at my home or his, until his mother returned from work between 7 & 8 in the evening, In January she gave up her Read more job to pursue her college education. I can provide a letter of recommendation. From 06/2011 to 01/2012, I was employed by a wonderful family with one toddler/preschool age little girl, The family's needs changed and the father became a SAHD and that is the reason for my loss. I can provide a letter of recommendation. In my 20's I was a nanny for three families over a 6 year period, two of the families had 2 children each, ages 6 months - 6 years, where I spent 3 years and 2 years and the third had 3 children, 6 month - 7 years of age, where I spent 1 year. In my mid to late 20's I also went back to college and received my Early Childhood Education Certification and was a preschool teacher. At my most recent jobs, I was able to implement that education by working with the children in reading, writing, math, art, and indoor/outdoor activities including swimming, horse riding and bike riding. For almost two years, in my mid-30's, I was a substitute teacher's aide for K-12th grade, after a move to a very rural town in California. During this time I was also a very active PTA member for my friend's children who had lost their mother in a car accident soon before. As I mentioned above, I have a daughter (who came when I was 40 years old and had lost all hope), so I spend my free time being her mom and before she entered school, I was her educator. I adore children and truly love being a nanny. I am a non-smoker. I have 2 forms of transportation at my disposal. I have a great driving record, I can provide a copy, and a clean background check I am very loving to children, adults and animals (2 small Schnauzers in our home). Well, that is a little about me.
