Hello, my name is Erin and I am a caregiver with several years of babysitting experience. While I was in college, I also worked during the summer months for a family as a full time nanny. I have worked with children of a variety of ages and have cared for children with special needs. Education is very important to me and as a caregiver, I do my utmost to promote an environment that is conducive to learning and intellectual development. I love reading to children, and when I am taking care of school-age kids, I am always happy to help with homework and school projects. I am CPR and First Aid certified and am a responsible and safe driver. I take my job very seriously and I will do everything in my power to ensure the health, safety, and well being of your children. For me, there is nothing more rewarding than watching children as they grow and develop into unique individuals. And of course, it's especially rewarding when you yourself played some role in that development. Some of my favorite activities to do with children include going for walks, playing at the park, and going to the library to pick out books to read together. I love to sew, paint, and draw, so arts and crafts are another favorite of mine. I am also very passionate about cooking and baking and I love to let kids become involved in the kitchen. Not only do children enjoy learning how to make things like bread, but in the process, they also develop an appreciation for individual ingredients and gain an understanding of where their food comes from. Of course, there are many other activities I enjoy doing with kids, such as playing board games and telling stories, and the list of activities is constantly growing.
