I raised a girl myself, she is at college as of Monday the 24th of August. I'd love to watch one to two kids after school into early evening. I can pick them up from school and take them on any errands they might have or straight home. Would love Elementary aged school children or older. Am zoned to Barrington Place, SLMS, and Kempner. These are the schools my daughter went to as well. Although I am familiar with all FBISD schools. I do have a full time 40 hour a week job but I get home from there around 2 pm(ish). I can make my own schedule there and that's the hours I prefer to work. I'm older, but kids generally like me I have no idea why. My daughter says I'm goofy. I love reading to kids, I make silly animated character voices and I guess they like Read more that. I love modern day music and they relate to that too I guess. I believe in cheaper alternatives to entertain kids, generally they just want your attention more than things that cost a lot. I believe in checking out surrounding neighborhood parks to alleviate sameness. My daughter and I called it "park hopping" I love to do crafts and play games with kids. I absolutely LOVE animals so being around them is a plus to me! I have two cats of my own. I'm really new to this so I probably won't know the right questions to ask. Be gentle.
